Summer Community Groups – The Humanity of Jesus

Summer Community Groups at Living Hope are one of the ways to stay connected to the larger church family. With our regular Community Groups being primarily geographic, it’s easy to only get to know the people in your group. Summer CGs also a way to continue gathering consistently with your faith family, since our regular rhythms of community are in flux during the Summer.

This summer we are going to look at the humanity of Jesus. We know Jesus was trained in a specific vocation, and had a career change. Jesus had a family, and His family didn’t always understand his decisions. Jesus had friends. Within those friendships he experienced deep joy and community, and also sorrow and betrayal. Jesus experienced grief. He suffered personally and relationally. There’s not one area of our lives He can’t relate to. For four Wednesdays in July, we are going to learn from His life, and see how God wants to apply it to our own.
