What is “Brag on Jesus Sunday” ?

We will have two special “Brag on Jesus” services in 2024. This time each year, we set aside our morning service to have a few people share ways they have experienced the faithfulness of God firsthand over the past year. It has affectionately become known as our “Brag on Jesus” service. It will take place during our normal worship service time, 10:30am.

Then on Sunday evening at 5:30pm in the Fellowship Hall, we will close out the Christmas season and celebrate the faithfulness of Jesus in 2023 at our inaugural “Brag on Jesus Epiphany Feast.” Together as a church family, we will share a meal and share stories of God’s presence and activity in our lives during a potluck (see below for details) and open-mic style night. Childcare will be provided and the children will have their own dinner in the childcare area.

Potluck Details

There will be no sign-up for the potluck. Instead, if you want to bring a dish to share with your church family, we ask that you bring something from the category of food that corresponds with the first letter of your last name.
If your last name starts with “A” through “L,” bring a main dish or meat.
If your last name starts with “M” through “S,” bring a side dish.
And if last your name starts with “T” through “Z,” plan on bringing a dessert.
